The University of North Carolina Dental School is consistently ranked in the Top 5 of dental schools in the United States. The Dental Foundation provides annual support to the school of more than $2 million in scholarships, fellowships, professorships and program support.Dr. Bishop is on the scholarship committee and a part of the Chancellor’s Circle of giving.

This is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Laura and Shannon, two of our hygienists are members of the Junior League and Dr. Bishop helps sponsor the Junior League’s Home Roam and Wine Gala which is their main fundraising event.

Dr. Bishop and her team volunteer their time and talents to help serve the men and women of the TROSA program with their restorative dental needs.  Helping them achieve the dental function and the smile they deserve!

Dr. Bishop and her team volunteer their time after hours to help make meals at the Ronald McDonald house and work with the families through the SECU Family House.
