He may be cute, but it is like pulling teeth to get him to focus on his schoolwork. He sweetly came to me last week, in an effort to delay his school assignments, and asked me to pull his loose tooth. I knew he was desperate to avoid reading and writing if he was asking me to extract his tooth.
Homeschooling Madilyn and Matthew has given me an even greater appreciation for educators. These men and women teach, guide and encourage our children for hours daily. I can barely make it a few minutes into the ‘school day’ before there are tears and raised voices.
I miss you all! I am grateful for this time with my children and for being able to craft in my sewing room BUT, I am anxious to get back to work. Remember, we are here for you if you need us.
